🦶How much attention are you giving your ankle stability?
Your ankles play a major role in how you move, balance, land, and change direction. When stability is lacking, it can affect how your knees, hips, and the rest of your body handle movement.
Whether you’re competing in sports, running, lifting, or simply staying active, building ankle strength and stability is an important part of reducing injury risk and improving performance.
How often are you incorporating ankle stability exercises into your training?

Physical therapy isn’t just about the exercises — it’s about getting your body moving, recovering, and performing at its best. 💪

The workouts are challenging, but manual therapy plays just as important of a role in the process. Hands-on treatment helps improve mobility, decrease restrictions, and prepare the body to move better so we can get the most out of every exercise.

Strength + mobility + recovery = progress. 🔥

Keep putting in the work. Keep trusting the process. Achieve Your Impossible.

Movement = Momentum. 💪🔥

Every rep, every step, and every challenge is a chance to move forward. Progress doesn’t happen overnight—it happens when you keep showing up, putting in the work, and believing in what your body is capable of.

At Chardon Performance Therapy, we’re here to help you move better, get stronger, build confidence, and keep chasing the goals that matter most. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, getting back to your sport, or working toward becoming your strongest self, your next step starts with movement.

Don’t let “impossible” be the finish line. Achieve Your Impossible. 🏆

Keep moving. Keep progressing. Keep building momentum. 🚀

Nope, we are not looking for a baby.

We’re using musculoskeletal ultrasound to get a real-time look at what’s happening beneath the surface.

Muscles, tendons, joints, and other soft tissues can be viewed while you move, giving us another tool to better understand what’s going on and help guide treatment.

And honestly…it’s pretty cool.

Being able to see the body move in real time and use that information during treatment is just one more way physical therapy continues to evolve.

Better information. More precise treatment. A plan built around you.

Find what hurts. Treat what matters. Get back to you.

Good physical therapy starts with understanding what’s actually going on, not just chasing symptoms.

The goal is to help you move better, feel better, and get back to the things that make you feel like yourself again.

Because feeling better is good. Getting your life back is better.

Your PT can give you the plan.
They can help you understand what’s going on, guide you through the process, challenge you, and make adjustments along the way.
Real progress happens when you take ownership of the process. It’s showing up consistently. Doing the exercises when no one is watching. Pushing when it’s time to push. Recovering when it’s time to recover. And trusting that the small wins will eventually become big ones.
Physical therapy isn’t something that happens TO you.
We’ll bring the plan, the expertise, and the accountability.
You bring the work.
That’s how you get back to doing what you love, stronger and more confident than before.

When your patient is saying “I can’t do this”… but you already know they can.
Sometimes the best thing we can do is challenge you enough to realize your body is capable of more than you thought.
Rehab isn’t just about getting out of pain. It’s about rebuilding strength, confidence, and trust in your body so you can get back to doing the things that matter to you.
There might be a few complaints along the way. 😅 But seeing someone go from “I can’t” to “I just did” never gets old.

Your body isn’t asking for more stretching. It’s asking for the right movement, strength, and strategy.
If you’ve tried foam rolling, massaging or stretching without lasting relief, there’s usually another piece missing.
Pain isn’t always about tight muscles.
Ready to figure out the cause? Schedule an assessment. #fitness #stretching #spinehealth

Runner's knee isn't always a knee problem. Sometimes it's the foot...the hip...strength...or sometimes it's a training issue.

Treating only where it hurts often leads to frustration. Movement tells us much more than pain location, it can tell us the cause.

One body. One story. One unique path. 💪
Physical therapy isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach—and it shouldn’t be.

Your injury, goals, movement patterns, lifestyle, and experiences are different from everyone else’s. That’s why your treatment should be too.

At Chardon Performance Therapy, we believe in creating a plan built around YOU—so you can move better, perform better, and get back to doing what you love.

Because your goals are personal. Your recovery should be personal, too.

Don’t settle for the ordinary. Achieve Your Impossible.

For young athletes, an injury can feel like everything has been put on hold—practice, competition, strength, conditioning, and confidence.
But recovery doesn’t have to mean doing nothing.
The goal is to understand what needs to be protected—and what can still be challenged.
Here, she’s recovering from a lower-extremity injury, but she can still work. We can maintain conditioning, challenge appropriate areas of the body, and keep her engaged in the process while respecting the injury and her recovery plan.
For parents and athletes, this is an important distinction:
“I’m injured” doesn’t have to mean “I can’t train.”
It means the plan needs to change.
Keep moving forward. Keep building what you can. And keep working toward what matters to you.
Achieve Your Impossible.

Sleep is Your Best Recovery Tool 🛌 💤
Want to perform better in practice tomorrow? Start with tonight.
A few simple habits can make a big difference:
✅ Aim for 8–10 hours of sleep.
📱 Put your phone away 30–60 minutes before bed.
💧Stay hydrated throughout the day.
🍽️ Eat enough to fuel your training.
⏰ Go to bed and wake up at the same time each day.

Your body recovers while you sleep not while you train. Train hard. Sleep well. Perform better.

Some days... I just don't want to make a social media post. Not because I don't care but because sometimes your mind needs a break. And honestly, I think we all need to get better at recognizing the difference between discipline and burnout.

The same thing happens with:
• Work.
• Working out.
• Parenting.
• Running a business.
• Chasing goals.

Consistency is important. But so is knowing when your body and mind are asking for recovery.

We spend so much time talking about physical health that we sometimes forget mental health is what allows us to keep showing up in the first place. If you've been feeling mentally drained lately, maybe today isn't about pushing harder. Maybe it's about taking a breath, getting outside, calling a friend, getting some sleep, or simply giving yourself permission to recharge.

You don't have to earn rest. The goal isn't to be "on" 100% of the time. It's to stay healthy enough both physically and mentally to keep doing what matters most.

Take care of your mind the same way you take care of your body. They work better together. #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthmatters #physicalhealth #physicalfitness #consistency #rest #rechargeyourself
