Glute activation is crucial for both running and walking because the glutes are the powerhouse of movement. Strong, engaged glutes propel you forward, reducing reliance on smaller muscles and improving stride efficiency. Weak or inactive glutes can lead to compensation in the lower back, knees, and ankles, increasing injury risk. The glutes help stabilize the pelvis, reducing excessive hip drop and keeping your movement controlled. Activated glutes allow for stronger push-off with each step, helping you maintain speed and endurance longer.

Try activating your Glutes while walking and running. Just remember to SQUEEZE!

Struggling with mobility? Common culprits include pelvic restrictions, outer hip tightness, and balance weaknesses. These can limit movement efficiency and lead to compensation patterns. Addressing them = better performance and injury prevention!

Mobility check! 🔍🦵 A full squat is a great way to assess knee, hip, and ankle mobility. Limitations in any of these areas can impact movement and performance.

Dancers, don’t forget about your hip flexors! These muscles power your high extensions, sharp footwork, and overall control. If they’re weak, you’ll struggle with height, balance, and endurance.

Try these 4 hip flexor exercises to build strength and stability:

1️⃣ Standing knee drives with kettlebell
2️⃣ Eccentric kettlebell anchored layback
